Caco Pacific is one of the very few mold makers in the world to have a permanent, dedicated R&D group. Our specialists are continuously searching for new solutions through research and development in mold and runner systems technology.

Over the years, technical innovations in stack molds (our first one was built in 1963), higher cavitation molds, hot runner vs. cold runner molds and dimensional interchangeability have been but a few of the leading innovations coming out of Caco Pacific R&D. When someone says "That can't be done," Caco Pacific says, "We'll find a way."

Our R&D is customer-driven. Over the years, our R&D department has assisted our customers in staying ahead of their competition.

New Ideas in Hot Runner Thinking.

Caco Pacific has a full-range of proven hot runner systems including all the varieties of gating techniques, such as valve gate, hot-edge gate, hot-tip, open sprue and special custom styles.

Although these systems are designed and built for Caco Pacific molds, we do sell them to customers as completely assembled bolt-on systems including plates, or as part of a fully assembled mold base. All runner systems are engineered to be balanced whenever possible. They are delivered to you, fully tested.
