Caco Pacific has one of the largest EDM departments in the industry with over 30 machines (including wire EDM capability). EDM is an essential part of our manufacturing strategy to build the world's best molds. It is a manufacturing technology in which we excel.

Precision electrode engineering and construction is the heart of Electronic Discharge Machining. Combined with very precise EDM machining of cores, cavities and other molding inserts, electrode engineering determines about 85% of the final plastic product's form, finish and dimensional accuracy.

Our EDM machining experience and know-how is second to none. Our EDM finishes are so good and consistent that in roughly 40% of our molds, no further finishing is required.
